"Python-DATA-TYPE AND FLOW-CONTROL" is a course tailored for the beginner in software programming.

THIS COURSE IS GIVEN TO STUDENTS INDIVIDUALLY.

The course covers all the basics and then take the students through an intermediate level of programming and finally introduces them to advanced concepts with the help of lectures, exercises, assignments, assessments and projects.

Python is an easy language to learn so the learning curve will be quite easy. There requires to be a lot of practical work to be implemented, so this course will involve the student with a lots of hands-on exercise, assignments and assessments.

The course starts with the conventions of Python, followed by the constructs for decision and repetation. Then there will be an extensive study of the builtin data structures of Python. There will be some more study of constructs for iteration and exception handling. The will be a lot of exercise and material regarding functions, module and packages followed by comprehensions for lists, dictionaries sets and files.

We will look at the object oriented approach of design and implementation in Python with suitable examples and a case study. Then we will look at working with files from the file system and using the operating system from python. There will also be a suitable coverage for Regular Exceptions and GUI as additional topics.
