I bring with me over 7 years of rich experience in the fields of accountancy, economics, business studies, and various branches of finance like income tax, corporate accounting, and management accounting. My academic foundation is built on a Master’s in Commerce (M.Com), but it is my professional journey that has truly shaped me as a tutor.
Having worked extensively in the finance domain with leading multinational corporations, I have led numerous projects for global clients. These experiences have enriched my understanding of international financial practices, client reporting, and performance analytics. The exposure has
also helped me understand the nuances of corporate training and process transitions, where I’ve been entrusted with mentoring teams and transferring domain knowledge effectively.
My passion for teaching took a formal route through tutoring on UrbanPro and offline individual classes. I focus on making finance easy to understand, especially for students who come from non-commerce backgrounds or struggle with theoretical concepts. My teaching is practical-based—rooted in real business scenarios—so that learners can immediately apply what they learn.
I use a whiteboard for my sessions and make it a point to build step-by-step clarity. I avoid rote learning and instead encourage understanding the logic behind each concept. My students often appreciate this hands-on approach, especially those who had low confidence in subjects like financial accounting or taxation before joining my classes.
One of my most fulfilling experiences has been mentoring students who initially doubted their academic abilities.
