I am a Kathak and semi-classical dance teacher with over twenty years of experience. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to perform in various prestigious venues and events. Recently, I had the privilege of performing at a show in Egypt that the Delhi government's Indian Council arranged for Cultural Relations (ICCR). I have also performed at the Sangeet Natak Akademi, and the Basanth Amrit Mela organised by the Sangathi Social Culture Committee and the Sanchari Kala Parishat.
I have also had the pleasure of teaching many students over the years. Some of my students have even participated in international dance competitions, such as the Veenadhari Institute Online Competition. Seven of my students participated in this competition, and many made it to the final round, with two even receiving 2nd and 3rd place prizes. In addition to my various performances and teaching experiences, I have also been recognised for my achievements in dance. For instance, I have received awards from the Bangiya Sahitya Purashat and Geetantali.
Ever since I was young, I had had a deep passion for dance and was fortunate enough to begin learning from the legendary Pandit Birju Maharaj when I was just in tenth standard. Aside from teaching in-person classes, I have also worked with several online platforms to provide interactive dance classes to students worldwide. I have even created video tutorials to help my students improve their skills and techniques.
Dance has been an integral part of my life, and I am grateful for all the opportunities I have had to perform and teach over the years. I look forward to continuing to share my love and knowledge of dance with others in the years to come.
