Digvijoy Dinesh Gogoi

I am a PhD Scholar at the Institute for Stem Cell Science and Regenerative Medicine (inStem, Bengaluru), working on neuronal regulation of hematopoiesis. My academic background includes a B.Sc. in Life Sciences from Tezpur University and an M.Sc. in Biotechnology from IIT Kharagpur.
I have extensive research experience in cell biology, immunology, neuroscience, stem cell biology, and hematopoiesis, and have collaborated with scientists from leading international research institutions. My work spans both wet-lab and computational biology, including molecular biology techniques, high-throughput transcriptomics, bulk and single-cell RNA sequencing analysis, experimental design, and data interpretation.
In addition to academic research, I have worked in biotechnology startups and R&D environments, contributing to translational projects, including the development of antisense oligonucleotide (ASO)-based therapeutics for diabetic wound healing. I have experience in scientific writing, research publications, patent-related work, and mentoring undergraduate students.
As an educator, I have taught school and undergraduate students, focusing on building strong conceptual understanding rather than rote memorization. I teach Biology, Biotechnology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Neuroscience, and Research Methodology, and I also provide guidance for research projects, scientific writing, and higher education preparation.
