In high school, my main goal was to make Sanskrit relevant and engaging for students who often saw it as old or difficult. I did this by showing its influence on modern Indian and even English words, exploring timeless wisdom through simple verses, and using storytelling from Puranas or Hitopadesha. To simplify grammar, I used visual aids, memory tricks, and games for declensions and conjugations. The real joy was seeing students connect a Sanskrit root to a familiar word or grasp a verse's profound meaning.
