Debashis Ghosh

I teach Chemistry for Class 11, Class 12, and undergraduate students, and I have been actively teaching for the past 6 years. My experience includes both school-level and university-level teaching, which has given me a deep understanding of student challenges and learning patterns at different stages.

I hold a Master’s in Organic Chemistry from Calcutta University and a PhD from CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar, Gujarat. Along with this, I have 4 years of post-PhD research experience, which has strengthened my conceptual clarity and scientific approach. I also qualified the GATE exam in 2008, which adds to my academic credibility.

My teaching journey includes roles at reputed institutions like St. Joseph's University (Bangalore) and Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences (Coimbatore). Working in these institutions has helped me refine my teaching methodology, interact with diverse learners, and guide them toward excellent academic performance consistently.

I consider myself both a teacher and a researcher, and I bring the best of both worlds into my classes. My lessons are deeply conceptual, connected to real-life applications, and supported by problem-solving practice. I believe that students understand Chemistry best when theory and application go hand in hand.

In my online classes, I follow a structured and student-friendly method, using PowerPoint presentations and a pen tablet to explain concepts clearly. I prepare detailed lesson plans, break down complex topics into simple parts, and ensure my students gain confidence through interactive discussions and step-by-step explanations.

My goal is always to make Chemistry approachable and enjoyable for every learner. I teach online, and my classes are designed to make students think, question, and build a strong foundation that supports them in exams as well as higher studies.
