JavaScript is a OOP scripting language.
It can be run in Browser only.
Most of all, it is plain text.
If you are capable of understanding and debugging piece of code which is in plain text format without any intelliscence or autofill, and a little bit background of the original JAVA programming,
then Javascript is a piece of cake.
But yes it takes a gud amount of time to be proficient at it. Though you can figure out initial stuffs with google only.

Here are the facts:
If you want to enter into IT, you are welcomed anywhere provided you excel at a certain booming technology like RPA, AI or even many other technologies. After 18 years of teaching experience, it is impossible for any company to recruit you as a fresher or give training like a fresher. So it is ideal that you know some technology pretty well and crack the interview, YOU ARE WELL N GUD.
If you want to continue teaching, that's the best option I would say at this point. Try to get into a government or aided school/college for updating you further.!
