I have been teaching mainframe technologies for over 25 years, sharing my knowledge and experience with students who aspire to master this field. My expertise spans across IBM DB2, COBOL, JCL, ISPF, DB2 IMS DB/DC, ASSEMBLER, RACF, CA-ACF2, CA SCHEDULER, REXX, and CLIST. Teaching these subjects is my passion because I believe mainframes continue to play a vital role in enterprise systems, and skilled professionals in this domain are always in demand.

I hold a Master’s degree in Computer Applications (MCA) and have completed specialized training in IBM Mainframe System Administration. These qualifications have laid the foundation for my technical journey and continue to support my role as a trainer. My academic background, combined with decades of hands-on experience, helps me deliver practical, industry-relevant training to my students.

My professional journey spans over 30 years in the IT industry, primarily focused on mainframe technologies. I retired from Tech Mahindra Limited, where I had the privilege of working on numerous complex projects that required deep technical expertise. This experience allows me to provide real-world insights during my classes, helping students bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical application.

My teaching methodology is interactive and practical-oriented. I believe that mainframe concepts, though vast and sometimes challenging, become easier to grasp when broken down into clear, structured lessons. I encourage students to actively participate in discussions and apply what they learn through hands-on exercises. Each class builds systematically on the previous one, ensuring students develop a strong conceptual foundation along with the ability to implement their knowledge.

To make learning effective and engaging, I use IBM official documents as reference materials and prepare detailed presentations for better conceptual clarity. I also demonstrate live mainframe connections during sessions, giving students a chance to see the real-time application of what they are learning. This practical exposure makes my classes dynamic and helps students gain confidence in using mainframe systems.
