You can learn in 15 days, Kannada is a language esp in Bangalore which allows usage of words from other languages such as English, Hindi words. Like you want to ask have you eaten? You can say breakfast madidira? I feel if you know 100 words and sentence structure, you are good to go to handle tasks in a market, auto guy etc.
