Avanish Srihari

I am a mathematics tutor with 5+ years of experience helping students go from "I hate maths" to "wait, that is it?" I hold a B.Tech from CUSAT, and I have taught 20+ students across CBSE, ICSE, State Board, IGCSE, and IB. I cover everything from Class 6–10 fundamentals to Class 11–12 Calculus, Algebra, Probability and JEE Main/Advanced preparation.

How I teach
I do not believe in rote formulas. Every concept starts with the why: where it comes from, what it means, and how to see it before you solve it. Once a student understands the idea, the problems stop being scary. I then build speed and accuracy through carefully graded practice, moving from basic to board-level to competitive-level questions.

What students get

- A diagnostic first session to find exactly where the gaps are
- A personalized plan built around the student’s syllabus, pace, and exam dates
- Regular tests with detailed feedback, plus progress updates for parents
- Doubt-clearing support between classes on chat
- Shortcuts and exam strategies that save time in exams without sacrificing understanding

Results
- A Class 10 student improved from 75% to 92% in boards
- Average score improvement of 20+ marks in 3 months
