Can also be defined in simpler terms as process by which plants prepare food by using sunlight, carbon dioxide and chlorophyll pigment.
It's impotance lies in providing food for the other living organisms, oxygen for the respiration, and regulating carbon dioxide gas in the nature
Equation: 6CO2+ 6H2O (sunlight, Chlorophyll)
