Also, it is advisable to re-read the text book and then solve questions related to the topic each time you are preparing for an exam. Coming to the number of study hours that you need to put in, in depends on individual capabilities. It is best if you can just glance through the topics that were taught in school on that particular day and prepare earnestly by repeated readings of the topics when you prepare for tests conducted in school.
