Hey Hari, you should be happy that he is active. Most of the time, we have issues with the kids who are dormant or inactive. During this pandemic, we are irritated and frustrated. He doesn't have any outings or playing in the park allowed now. The energy which he has inside him is spilling out. Let him utilize the energy if he loves playing, running or something. Take him to the terrace and let him run and play. After 2 or 3 days of that schedule, let him know you will take him once he studies. I agree a little bit of tantrum or drama will be there. Be calm and let him show it. He will eventually do what you ask him to do.
Let him do what he wants. There are lots of learning activities available in the market. Get what works for him and allow him to be in his world. Dont control or give orders to him. Allow him to do what he wants. Tell him if he sits till the clock needle strikes 12 or whatever, you will allow him to play inside a tub of water, watch TV, or chocolates, whatever that makes him happy.
All kids are different. Let him be who he wants to be. Show appreciation. Slowly, he will change and miss this active kid when he gets put into the game of life.
Enjoy the little him. Have a good day.
