Currently, I’m actively leading IntelligoEdu Private Limited, an edtech venture that has been incubated at IIT Kharagpur, where we are collaborating with academic experts and innovators to build AI-powered, experiential learning solutions for school students. We’re not just teaching concepts—we’re designing new-age, curriculum-mapped tools to make learning deep, intuitive, and engaging. My teaching primarily focuses on students of class 9, particularly in Mathematics, Physics, and foundational STEM concepts, which form the backbone of academic and competitive exam preparation. I believe class 9 is one of the most crucial stages in a student’s journey. It is the phase where abstract concepts begin to appear in subjects like algebra, geometry, number systems, force, motion, atoms, and matter. A strong foundation here not only builds confidence but ensures long-term academic success in class 10 and beyond. How I Help Class 9 Students Excel: 1. Concept Clarity Over Rote Learning Many students struggle in class 9 because of the shift from factual learning to abstract concepts. I ensure that every topic I teach is first broken down into its core logic and then related to real-world situations. For example, when teaching the laws of motion, I don’t start with equations—I begin with a relatable story or a simple activity using day-to-day examples like pushing a cart, applying brakes on a bike, or jumping on a trampoline. For example, while explaining the structure of atoms, I use 3D models or interactive videos to help students visualize protons, neutrons, and electrons, rather than just memorize diagrams. In mathematics, I encourage visual problem solving—showing students how to understand algebraic equations or geometry theorems with shapes, animations, and number lines. This drastically improves retention and confidence. 4. Building a Strong Mathematical Foundation Many students fear Maths because they’ve never been taught to see numbers or patterns. I focus on helping students think mathematically—not just solve problems. For example, instead of rushing through formulas in algebra or geometry, I explain why those formulas exist, how they’re derived, and where they’re applied in real life. This not only prepares them for exams but also builds problem-solving skills they can use anywhere. I also include regular sessions on mental math, logical reasoning, and Vedic techniques for speed calculation—making maths faster, fun, and more intuitive. 5. Doubt Clearing & Personalized Attention One of the biggest benefits of my classes is the attention each student gets. I encourage students to ask questions—however simple or silly they may seem. My goal is to create a safe learning space where students can be open about their doubts without hesitation. I conduct weekly doubt-clearing sessions and revision marathons to ensure every student is exam-ready and stress-free. 6. Mentorship Beyond the Syllabus Being an educator with entrepreneurial and research background, I also act as a mentor for students. I guide them on how to improve study habits, time management, and even help them explore career interests through science and mathematics. I regularly share tips on exam preparation, stress management, and focus building. 7. Parent-Teacher Collaboration I believe that consistent communication with parents is key to a child’s success. I provide regular updates to parents about their child’s progress, challenges, and achievements. I also guide them on how to support their children at home—whether it’s by helping create a study schedule, providing the right resources, or simply building a positive study environment. 8. AI-Integrated Learning Through my work at IntelligoEdu, I’m also incorporating AI-based diagnostics and adaptive learning paths for students. This means identifying exactly where a student is struggling—be it algebraic simplification or force diagrams—and targeting those gaps with customized practice sets and feedback. We are also developing curriculum-aligned micro-courses that help students dive deeper into topics using gamified quizzes, simulations, and real-time analytics. As one of the few tutors who combine classroom teaching with research-based innovation, I bring the best of both worlds to every student I teach. In my 9+ years of teaching experience, my goal has always been simple: to make students fall in love with learning. Currently, I’m leading IntelligoEdu, an edtech initiative incubated at IIT Kharagpur, where we’re building AI-powered curriculum tools to make school education more interactive and personalized.
