I believe children should strengthen their basics and should focus on getting the concepts instead of learning just the theory. My teaching is purely based on practical learning as in imagining the stuff first . I don't ask my students to learn the formula for perimeter of square as 4a rather I ask them to derive first by imagining the square in front of them so that they can find perimeter for any object.
