I have been working as a teacher for the past thirteen years. I hold an MA and MEd degree, and my career is fulfilling. I work at Saint Francis School, which follows the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) curriculum. I have been associated with this school for 13 years and have gained much experience. In addition to teaching, I have been a Board Evaluator for almost seven years, and the Team lead in evaluating.
Teaching has been a gratifying experience for me, and I am fortunate to contribute towards shaping our society's future. I was always interested in teaching and handling children, so I pursued this profession. Apart from my work at the school, I also teach home tuition individually. I teach English subjects from grades first to tenth and conduct spoken English classes. These classes are conducted online and have one hour per day spread over six months.
My teaching approach is interactive, and I ensure my students are engaged throughout the session. I believe in creating a comfortable and open environment for my students, which helps them to ask questions and clarify their doubts. In my online classes, I use a variety of teaching aids, such as PowerPoint presentations and videos from YouTube, to make the learning process more exciting and compelling. I also provide study material, assignments, and tests to help my students practice and assess their understanding of the subject. I understand that every student has their own pace of learning, and I tailor my teaching methods to suit their needs.
