I thank you for taking your time to find the right chess coaching class for your kid!
I have a good experience of teaching chess from last 5 years.I take classes at various locations which include Belgaum and Bangalore areas like Jaynagar, Lalbagh, Kengeri, Vijayanagar, Nagarbhavi and Rajajinagar. I taught students at basic, intermediate and advanced levels. Proud to say that they have been doing very well in all Chess Tournaments and have secured prizes at various levels.
The kids are taught openings, middle games, endgames ,puzzles and various chess concepts through which they can increase their analyzing and playing skills. I can interact and connect with students of different ages and different levels of skill and I succeed in making them comfortable and not boring with learning chess.
Chess coaching as well as playing is my passion and I enjoy it thoroughly!!

How long does a kid usually take to learn chess?

It depends on age of student, interest & dedication. But according to my experience 10 to 12 Classes are sufficient to learn basic chess for kids.
