I am an English teacher with 28 years of experience in the field of education. At UrbanPro, I teach English to students from Classes 8 to 12, helping them strengthen their grammar, writing, language skills, communication, and overall confidence. My extensive experience has given me a deep understanding of students’ academic and learning needs.

I hold M.A. and B.Ed. qualifications. My B.Ed. training provided me with professional knowledge of teaching methodologies, classroom management, lesson planning, and student-centred learning. I have combined this foundation with decades of practical experience in schools to develop an effective and structured approach to teaching English.

Before becoming the Head of the School, I worked as a Senior TGT in English at a reputed school, where I taught students from Classes 9 to 12 for 20 years. This experience helped me develop strong expertise in teaching English and understanding the academic requirements of senior school students.

I currently work as the Head of the School, where my responsibilities also include academic planning, teacher mentoring, and contributing to the overall development of students. These responsibilities have further strengthened my understanding of education and helped me develop a broader perspective on effective teaching and learning.

I follow a structured lesson plan while keeping the student’s learning objectives and requirements in mind. My classes are interactive, and I encourage students to participate through discussions, questioning, activities, and practical examples. I focus on conceptual clarity as well as helping students express themselves confidently.

I regularly assess students’ understanding and provide individual guidance wherever required. I use PPTs and a digital whiteboard to support my lessons and make explanations more engaging. My approach is student-centred, and I adapt my teaching according to the learner’s level, strengths, and areas that need improvement.

I have been recognised with the Best Teacher Award for my contribution to education and teaching. I was also recognised under the International School Award (ISA) 2014–17 for my contribution to international curriculum and global learning initiatives. My goal is to continue using my experience to help students become confident English learners and achieve their academic goals.
