Is ear twisting and pinching and good punishment for students under 10th?I heard from some teachers ear twisting makes the brain work fast .How many of the teachers applying this as punishment ?

Under no circumstances is punishment beneficial. More often than not it scars the student and actually causes greater damage.

My son is in class 1. he does not pay attention in class and does not write. We have felt that he need a school where teacher and student ratio is less or teacher give personal attention to weak and slow students. Can you suggest any such school, day care or hostel around kolkata.
A daycare is not the solution , get him a good tutor or you enroll for a parenting class to understand his needs.
