There are many softwares related to 2D, 3D and Analysis. But when it comes to 2D the major companies use AutoCAD LT which is from Autodesk. There are other 2D softwares but are not so well known or used by industries. As a base towards Design it is important to learn Drafting (2D) first. The best choice would be AutoCAD 2D.Depending on area of interest you can choose 3d Modeling softwares. There are many softwares like CreO, Catia, Unigraphics, Solidworks, Inventor, SolidEdge to name a few. Appreciate if you could visit some centres for a counselling and also go through the Job market by searching for opportunities in each software for that Software. You can search at any Job portal.I hope I have given you some details. P Sudheendra Reddy read less
