Kaustav Chattoraj

I am a Mathematics tutor with a strong academic background and a passion for making mathematics simple, logical, and enjoyable for students. I completed my B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Mathematics from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi. I also qualified GATE and was selected for a PhD in Mathematics at NIT Surathkal. Although I decided not to continue with the PhD, my academic journey has given me a strong foundation in mathematics and a deeper understanding of how mathematical concepts work. Currently, I run my own coaching institute, where I teach Mathematics to students from Classes 7 to 10. My teaching focuses on: building strong conceptual fundamentals, explaining difficult topics in a simple and easy-to-understand way, developing problem-solving and logical thinking skills, preparing students according to their school curriculum and examinations, helping students overcome their fear of Mathematics, and regular practice with progressively challenging questions. I believe that Mathematics should not be learned simply by memorizing formulas. My aim is to help students understand the logic behind every concept, so that they can approach unfamiliar problems with confidence. Whether a student needs help strengthening their basics, improving school performance, or developing a deeper understanding of Mathematics, I adapt my teaching according to their individual learning level and requirements.
