With over six years of diverse teaching experience, I, Aanchal Raturi, have worked across multiple educational domains, helping students build a strong academic foundation and develop essential communication skills. My journey in teaching has been driven by passion, discipline, and a deep understanding of how to support students at various stages of learning especially during the crucial academic years like Class 9, where a student’s conceptual clarity and confidence truly begin to shape. I started my teaching career as a Mathematics teacher at Arya Samaj School, where I handled middle and high school classes. Teaching Mathematics has always been a rewarding experience for me, as it allows me to guide students in developing analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. During my tenure at Arya Samaj School, I focused on building conceptual clarity in topics such as algebra, geometry, mensuration, and linear equations — subjects that are critical in Class 9. I designed interactive and engaging lesson plans that catered to different learning speeds and abilities, ensuring that every student understood the fundamentals and felt confident in applying them. Simultaneously, I provided home tuitions to students from various classes, including Class 9, where I gave special attention to their academic needs and personal learning styles. Working one-on-one with students allowed me to offer personalized guidance, conduct regular assessments, and track their progress closely. I consistently received positive feedback from both students and parents, particularly for my patience, clarity of explanation, and my ability to make difficult topics easier to grasp. After gaining classroom and tutoring experience, I expanded my teaching profile by entering the field of soft skills training. I joined Amhadev as a Soft Skills Trainer, where I conducted sessions for students and young professionals on communication, confidence-building, spoken English, body language, and interview preparation. This phase helped me understand the importance of personality development and communication alongside academic excellence something especially helpful for 9th-grade students who are preparing to face board exams, competitions, and future public speaking events. My experience grew stronger when I joined two reputed institutes, Western Overseas and The Golden Overseas, where I worked as a PTE (Pearson Test of English) trainer for approximately four years. In this role, I taught modules such as Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking to students aiming to study or settle abroad. Teaching PTE required a high level of discipline, strategic test preparation, and the ability to motivate students from varied educational backgrounds. This added immense value to my teaching style enabling me to teach not just content, but also how to approach learning with focus, time management, and confidence. What connects all these experiences is my consistent ability to bond with students, understand their challenges, and motivate them to grow whether it’s solving a tricky Math problem or preparing for an English proficiency test. I strongly believe that Class 9 is a pivotal stage in every student’s life, where both academic understanding and emotional readiness must be developed. My unique combination of subject teaching and soft skill training makes me well-suited to handle the comprehensive needs of Class 9 students who require a blend of subject mastery, communication, and confidence. In every classroom or tuition setting, I strive to maintain a student-friendly and disciplined environment.
