Hello, I’m Renée, and I am an undergraduate student currently reading Medieval and Art History at first year Honours level at the university of St Andrews, Scotland. The University of St Andrews is the third oldest university in the English speaking world, only behind the universities of Oxford and Cambridge, and is home to the largest gathering of historians in the British Isles. It tops the Guardian and Complete University guides in being the number one place to study history in the UK.

I received my IB Diploma with an overall 7 in Higher Level History, made up of 7s in both the IA and written exam components. At university, I have received a consistent First in Medieval History during Sub Honours, as well as distinctions including those in Middle Eastern History.

I am comfortable working with students enrolled in the IB Diploma programme, on the course curriculum and IA, as well as exam prep for all three exam papers and the Extended Essay. I am also comfortable providing support to students looking to apply to study history at universities in the UK.

I am well versed in literary, historical, social and political theory, and am historio,, graphically aware and competent. I can provide extensive research support including guidance on how to frame a variable research question, tailor the scope of an essay, present an academic level bibliography and citations, use academic level sources, and advise on prose and grammar.
