With over 30 years of teaching experience, I’ve developed a nuanced understanding of how students learn language and how it can be made both accessible and enjoyable across various boards like CBSE and ICSE.
My academic journey includes an MA in English and a B.Ed., along with an M.Ed. from the University of Bolton (UK), where I graduated with a perfect score. I also completed the Grammar module of the Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT) from Cambridge, which helped me refine my grammar teaching skills and improve the structural accuracy of my lessons.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with students as well as professionals, tailoring my lessons to suit the learner's context. I’ve conducted spoken English training for working professionals at MNCs and coached students for IELTS and competitive exams. Whether it's creative writing or formal letter construction, I ensure that the student learns both the form and the function of language.
My teaching is structured yet flexible. I create a lesson plan based on the learner’s current level, school syllabus, and personal learning goals. Each session is interactive and grounded in practical use—discussions, mock tests, reading comprehension tasks, and grammar drills are all part of my sessions.
Although I prefer offline classes, I am flexible and can conduct sessions based on the student’s requirement. I also provide curated study materials and reference notes when needed, but I always encourage students to write, speak, and explore language actively rather than passively absorb it.
