Dance has been my passion, profession, and way of life for more than 17 years. I specialize in teaching Bharatanatyam, Folk Dance, and Semi-Classical Dance, and I have had the privilege of training students of different age groups and skill levels. My aim is to help every student develop strong technical skills while also nurturing confidence, discipline, creativity, and a genuine appreciation for Indian classical and cultural dance traditions.

I hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Gujarat University, where Bharatanatyam was one of my subjects. In addition to my formal education in Bharatanatyam, I have also undergone six years of Kathak training and successfully completed the corresponding examinations. My continuous learning across different dance forms has given me a broader artistic perspective and allows me to introduce students to the beauty and diversity of Indian dance.

Over the years, I have performed extensively on national and international stages, representing Indian classical dance across different countries. As a performing artist with Darpana Academy, Ahmedabad, I gained invaluable experience performing before diverse audiences, which enriched my artistic expression and stage presence. These experiences enable me to guide my students not only in dance techniques but also in performance skills, confidence, facial expressions (abhinaya), rhythm, and stage presentation.

I currently run my own institute, **Jhankaar Dance Academy**, where I teach Bharatanatyam, Folk Dance, and Semi-Classical Dance to aspiring dancers. I have also served as a dance teacher at Darshan Academy, where I trained primary, secondary, and higher secondary students in Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Folk Dance, and other cultural dance forms. Throughout my teaching career, I have choreographed numerous school functions, annual day performances, cultural events, and competition routines, helping students perform with confidence and excellence.

One of the most memorable milestones of my artistic journey has been winning **Boogie Woogie**, which was telecast on Sony TV. This achievement, along with my years of performance and teaching experience, has strengthened my belief in the importance of dedication, creativity, and disciplined practice. I conduct both online and offline classes, making my training accessible to students from different locations. My sessions are tailored to each student's age, learning pace, and experience level, ensuring that every learner receives individual attention and steady progress.

As a dance teacher, my mission is to preserve and promote the rich heritage of Indian dance while making learning enjoyable and inspiring for every student. I believe that dance is much more than movement—it is a powerful medium of expression, culture, confidence, and personal growth.
