I am a passionate dancer with ten years of experience in Bharatanatyam. Teaching is my true calling, and I thoroughly enjoy sharing my knowledge with others. For four years, I had the privilege of training numerous students at the prestigious Darpana Institute. During my time at Darpana Institute, I focused on teaching and actively participated in various performances and events. I had the incredible opportunity to showcase my talent in fourteen different states across India.
In addition to teaching Bharatanatyam, I also specialise in Garbha dance. I offer online classes, each lasting one hour, three days a week or on weekends. My teaching approach is practical and engaging, ensuring that my students receive comprehensive training.
I offer a comprehensive seven-year course for those seeking to pursue a formal degree in Bharatanatyam. This program is designed to provide in-depth knowledge and expertise in the art form. Upon completion of the course, students receive an Akil Barathi certificate, which serves as a recognition of their achievements and skills.
My teaching abilities have been recognised and recommended by a prominent institute in Indore. Through their recommendation, I can provide Akil Barathi certificates to my students upon completing the course. I am a dedicated and experienced teacher who can guide you on your dance journey. With my extensive background in dance, engaging teaching style, and the opportunity to obtain a recognised degree, I am committed to helping my students excel in the beautiful art of Bharatanatyam.

I have also performed at National School of Drama (NSD) and Abhivyakati 2018. I have conducted workshops with student strength of more than 150 at private universities for dance training.

"I always wanted to learn Bharatnatyam but I was sceptical of the online classes. However the lockdown got extended and it left me with no choice. And I'm glad that I made that choice because Harshika ma'am made it so much easier for me to learn this dance form online. One quality that I like the best about her is perfection. She also explains the meaning behind every mudra which for a dancer I think it's important to know. It's only been one month since I started taking classes from her but I'm looking forward to all the amazing sessions ahead. "

"Wonderful Teacher with good knowledge of Bharatnatyam. What makes it special is the personalized way of teaching based on nature and understanding of each kid the teaching style gets changed to make it easy for the child to learn. A must go teacher for learning who takes online teaching of Bharatnatyam at par. My daughter is 5 yrs old and she has started learning Bharatnatyam online during lockdown only but the way she has learnt it during last 6months is not believable for me. As many teachers say Bharatnatyam and that too online is quite tough for such young kids but on looking at my daughter it doesn't seem to me and all the credit for it goes to her Teacher Harshika Joshi who tries to open up all the possibilities of learning for kids. I would for sure suggest all willing to learn Bharatnatyam to go with her if you want the Best. "
