I have graduated from the 12th standard from the prestigious English medium school, Sun Valley International School, with the highest scores in the English language in my year. Many of my students who were struggling to string sentences together are now capable of reading, writing and fluently speaking English and have a rich vocabulary. Students aged 5 to 10 years usually learn quickly if taught properly and are capable of grasping the scope of English very easily since they are growing children. Meanwhile, students from the age of 11 to 16 have developed thinking processes and thus require minimal assistance to learn English. Students who use what they have learned throughout the day learn even better because practice makes perfect, so encouraging them to talk in English is good. Encouraging them to read English books of various authors to enrich their vocabulary and reading speed helps them form sentences in their mind a lot quicker. These are only a few things which I have noticed during my 3 years of teaching spoken English.

Over the past several years, I have taught Hindi to students across different age groups, helping them strengthen their grammar, comprehension, and communication skills. Many of my learners who initially struggled with sentence formation and vocabulary have gradually developed the ability to read fluently, write clearly, and speak confidently in Hindi. I have observed that younger students (ages 5–10) learn quickly when lessons are interactive and creative. Activities such as storytelling, recitation, and role‑plays make grammar and vocabulary engaging, allowing them to grasp concepts like संज्ञा, क्रिया, and वाक्य रचना with ease. For older students (ages 11–16), the focus shifts to structured grammar, essay writing, and literature appreciation. At this stage, they benefit from guided practice, exposure to poems and stories, and discussions that connect Hindi texts to real‑life contexts. My teaching approach emphasises daily practice and immersion. I encourage students to use Hindi actively in conversation, write short passages or letters, and read literature to enrich their vocabulary. Worksheets, comprehension exercises, and exam‑style practice papers are integrated into lessons to prepare them for school assessments. Through a combination of grammar mastery, reading comprehension, writing practice, and literature appreciation, I ensure that students not only perform well academically but also develop a deeper cultural connection with the Hindi language.
