I can't make two images appear as layers in Photoshop and the move tool doesn’t look like it does in videos. Only the crossed arrows show. How do I fix this?

It is not a fix first, If you drag and drop a image on other image with is in photoshop workspace, the droped image will be appear as smart image . To make the smart image to a normal layer image, step 1- press the tick mark in the option bar, step 2- right click on the layer in the layer panel, step...

It is not a fix first, If you drag and drop a image on other image with is in photoshop workspace, the droped image will be appear as smart image . To make the smart image to a normal layer image, step 1- press the tick mark in the option bar, step 2- right click on the layer in the layer panel, step 3- Select Rasterize layer. you will get the smart image as normal image. Note- You can't use brush in the smart image, After converting the smart image to normal image you can use brush. read less
