Q1. What inspired you to teach Chemistry?
Ans. I teach both Chemistry and Physics. These two subjects are base pillars of any high level science course. As a student, I had always found dearth of good Chemistry teachers. Since I loved both the subjects so much, I made it a point to share my passion with my juniors. Eventually I became a Chemistry and Physics teacher.
Q2. What do you think makes you different from other Chemistry Tutors?
Ans. I find most teachers go for rote memorising in difficult topics of Chemistry which makes both teaching and studying quite boring beyond a certain extent. However, I see a definite pattern and logical flow in most topics of Inorganic, Organic and Physical Chemistry. I show my students these logical patterns which help them internalise the subject without much effort.
Q3. How you came across UrbanPro?
Ans. Few years back I was looking for a Guitar Teacher and while searching online, I stumbled upon ThinkVidya (now UrbanPro). Since then it seems to be a lifelong association.
Q4. How UrbanPro platform helped you to expand your Chemistry Tuition classes?
Ans. UrbanPro is a wonderful platform. It has brought lots of students who need help in their school, Engineering Entrance or Medical Entrance exams in my contact. I can now share my expertise in both Physics and Chemistry with all those students who can not come to my coaching centre and seek my help at an individual level.
Q 5. What do you think you wished you had known early on UrbanPro?
Ans. Instead, I think there should have been UrbanPro since the time I started teaching -- about a decade and half back.
Q 6. What percentage of your work comes from UrbanPro?
Ans. About 40 -- 50%
Q 7. One advice that you would like to give to new Trainers on UrbanPro.
Ans. Be very honest and clear with what help you can provide and what not.
