Eustace Phiri

My passion for singing began in childhood as a member of the church choir, where I first discovered the joy of musical expression. By my teenage years, I had progressed to the main choir, occasionally performing solo parts as a high tenor. After high school, I further developed my skills as a soloist, often performing with piano accompaniment before services. These experiences deepened my appreciation for music as both an art form and a means of connection. During university, I was inspired by fellow musicians and began attending performances hosted by the Lusaka Music Society. This exposure led me to join the society, where I found a supportive community that encouraged my growth. With guidance from mentors, I pursued structured vocal training, supplementing my learning through online resources and professional coaching. In 2017, I earned a merit in the ABRSM Grade 5 Music Theory exams. The following year, I achieved distinction in the ABRSM Grade 8 singing exams as a baritone—a significant milestone in my musical development. In 2019, I attained another distinction in the ARSM Performance Diploma, further solidifying my dedication to vocal artistry.
Though external circumstances temporarily paused my pursuit of advanced certifications, my commitment to music remains steadfast. As an educator, I bring both technical expertise and a deep love for music to my teaching. My goal is to inspire students and guide them toward their own musical achievements, ensuring a rewarding and enriching learning experience.
