Making Learning Fun, One Giggle at a Time

It's because when someone is singing they can feel every lyrics and the for it has given with the ragas . That feeling connects us to the music and usually tend to get lost ..hence vocal is preferred over instrument by some people.

Not exactly. but some basic knowledge of classical music can make more easier to understand notes of the song.
