Why some people love vocal music more than instrumental music?

It's because when someone is singing they can feel every lyrics and the for it has given with the ragas . That feeling connects us to the music and usually tend to get lost ..hence vocal is preferred over instrument by some people.

I dont think it makes much difference...some times you will get the only benefit of Scale....otherwise the teacher has to shift into your Scale to teach you but in same gender case, you will find no scale shifting issues...
