Hi Pankaj,
Yes, yoga can be practised when you have a knee problem, provided you take all the safety measures your instructor says and listen to the techniques the way asanas should be performed. Tell your instructor about the difficulties you face while performing asanas, and he will be able to modify the asana for you. Make sure the intensity of the hour practised is apt for you.
