I am Bharathi Ratna, a Carnatic vocal music teacher with 3 years of teaching experience, specializing in training students in classical vocal techniques, fundamentals of music, and structured practice-based learning. I have been teaching students through UrbanPro, focusing on developing strong musical foundations and helping learners grow in confidence and performance quality. My passion lies in preserving and teaching traditional Carnatic music while making it accessible and engaging for students of different age groups.

I hold a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree and have also completed a 2-year Diploma in Music. In addition, I am currently pursuing a music certificate course to further enhance my knowledge and skills in the field. My academic and practical training in music has given me a strong grounding in both theory and performance, enabling me to guide students with clarity and depth in their learning journey.

As a Carnatic music educator, I specialize in teaching classical vocal music and Bhajan singing. My teaching approach is rooted in traditional pedagogy, where I emphasize voice training, swara exercises, rhythm practice, and expressive singing techniques. I focus on helping students understand the nuances of Carnatic music, including pitch control, pronunciation, and emotional expression, so that they can develop both technical accuracy and artistic sensitivity.

I have been fortunate to win several music competitions, including university-level competitions, which have helped me gain recognition in the field of music. These achievements have further strengthened my passion for both performing and teaching Carnatic music. They also inspire me to encourage my students to participate in competitions and explore their potential in the field of music.

I conduct online classes and focus on providing structured training sessions that include vocal exercises, lesson practice, and performance preparation. My classes are designed to be systematic and student-friendly, ensuring that learners develop strong fundamentals while progressing at their own pace. I also guide students preparing for certification courses and examinations in music, helping them build confidence and perform effectively.
