It's practically impossible. Even if you do, most of the times, students tend to get their techniques all wrong. I firmly believe that the methods have to be learned from your teacher.

Learn Violin/Flute from expert !!

Everything is possible if you are true to yourself. But, it is advisable to get some biginners lessons from an expert teacher.

It's absolutely not possible to learn violin by reading books only. At least manage to get some good violin tutorials online or go to a violin trainer. anyway, these two books are best. Suzuki Violin Method. Galamian.
