Specific training on Microchip devices, controllers, Analog devices DSPs, was done.
Techniques of measurements, data collection, test methods, analysis of results , troubleshooting and designing methods of overcoming bugs etc was the key area of teaching, guiding and mentoring. My background of CNC and industrial electronics maintenance was extremely useful to do this effectively.
My own completion of Amature radio operator's (HAM) certificate course and advanced DSP course at IIT Madras have been very useful to teach students.
My rich industrial experience as maintenance engineer and independent consultant for 12+ years have been solid base to teach and train.
