I am Dr. Kruti Doshi, an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with 8 years of professional experience and 6 years of teaching experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. I teach Medical Entrance Coaching with a special focus on Obstetrics and Gynaecology. My experience in both clinical practice and medical education allows me to approach teaching from a practical perspective, helping students understand not only what they need to study but also how the concepts are applied in real clinical situations.

I am qualified with an MBBS, MS in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, DNB in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and MRCOG from the UK. These qualifications have provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the subject, supported by extensive academic and clinical training. My professional journey has given me exposure to a wide range of obstetric and gynaecological conditions, which I use to make my teaching more clinically relevant and easier for students to connect with.

I have previously worked as a Senior Resident and Assistant Professor at BJ Government Medical College and Sassoon General Hospitals, Pune. During this time, I gained valuable experience in clinical practice as well as teaching undergraduate medical students. Teaching in an academic and hospital environment helped me understand the challenges faced by medical students and strengthened my ability to explain complex topics in a clear, structured, and approachable manner.

Alongside my clinical and teaching experience, I have also undergone advanced training in gynaecological endoscopy. I currently work as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, which allows me to remain closely connected to current clinical practices and real-world patient care. I believe this combination of clinical exposure and teaching experience is particularly valuable for students because it enables me to explain concepts through practical clinical examples rather than relying only on textbook-based learning.

My teaching methodology focuses on simplifying complex concepts and developing a strong clinical approach instead of encouraging students to depend solely on memorisation. I structure each class around clear learning objectives and explain topics step by step. I use clinical cases, practical examples, visual explanations, and exam-oriented discussions to help students understand the reasoning behind important concepts and retain them more effectively.

I particularly enjoy teaching students preparing for MS and DNB Obstetrics and Gynaecology examinations, as well as entrance examinations such as NEET-PG. My classes are designed to address both conceptual understanding and examination requirements. I help students identify important topics, understand commonly tested concepts, approach clinical questions logically, and connect different areas of the subject so that their preparation becomes more organised and effective.

I conduct my classes online and use PPTs and a digital whiteboard to make sessions structured, interactive, and visually clear. I encourage students to actively participate, ask questions, discuss clinical scenarios, and clarify their doubts during the session. I believe that an interactive classroom allows students to engage more deeply with the subject and helps identify areas that require additional explanation or revision.

My goal as a teacher is to make Obstetrics and Gynaecology easier to understand, clinically meaningful, and relevant to the examinations students are preparing for. With my experience as a practising Consultant, former Assistant Professor and Senior Resident, and medical educator, I aim to guide students with a balanced approach that combines strong conceptual foundations, clinical reasoning, and focused exam preparation. I want my students to approach the subject with greater clarity, confidence, and the ability to apply their knowledge effectively.
