I am a passionate Tabla performer and dedicated teacher with 7 years of teaching experience and over 20 years of learning and performing this beautiful art form. My teaching approach combines the rich traditions of Indian classical music with a structured, student-friendly methodology that helps learners of all ages and skill levels progress confidently.

I hold a Bachelor of Performing Arts (Tabla) and am currently pursuing a Master of Performing Arts (Tabla) from the Faculty of Performing Arts, Banaras Hindu University (BHU). My academic training, along with years of stage performances, enables me to provide both practical and theoretical knowledge of Tabla.

In my classes, I focus on building a strong foundation in technique, clarity of bols, rhythm (Laya), Taal, accompaniment, solo performance, and improvisation, while adapting lessons to each student's pace and goals. Whether you are a beginner taking your first lesson or an advanced learner looking to refine your skills, I am committed to making your learning journey enjoyable, disciplined, and inspiring.

My aim is not only to teach Tabla but also to cultivate a deep appreciation for the rich heritage of Indian classical music in every student.
