Ashok Kumar Verma

I obtained my BE from the University of Roorkee (now IIT, Roorkee), ME from IISc Bangalore, and PhD from IIT Kanpur.
I taught for about 30 years at IIT(BHU) Varanasi and led most of the courses at the UG level and many at the PG level. The electives I taught are Computer Aided Design, Process Plant Simulation, Electrochemical Engineering, Solar Energy, Fluidization Engineering, and Process Optimization.
I have authored a book titled "Process Modeling and Simulation for Chemical, Biochemical and Environmental Engineering", published by CRC Press. Another "Process Design for Chemical and Environmental Engineering" book is in press.
I am proficient in in MATLAB, EXCEL and CHEMCAD.
Though I have never taught thermodynamics, I am proficient in thermodynamic property estimation.
