Vinod Kumar

I teach B.Tech students with a specialization in core Mechanical Engineering subjects, and I have been doing so for the past 13 years. My aim is to help engineering students build a strong conceptual foundation in subjects such as Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Strength of Materials, and Machine Design, while also preparing them for academic success and careers in the industry.
I hold a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, which has given me not only deep insight into the theoretical aspects of the field, but also the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, practical lessons. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work with a diverse set of students and guide them through both classroom learning and real-world applications.
With 13+ years of teaching and academic experience, I’ve also been closely involved in research, project supervision, and mentoring students for competitive exams. Whether it’s helping a student crack a difficult concept, write an effective project report, or prepare for technical interviews, I’ve always strived to be a supportive guide every step of the way.
In 2019, I was honored with the “Good Teacher Award” for my dedication and contribution to Mechanical Engineering education. This recognition reflects the care and effort I put into each class, always ensuring that my students have clarity, confidence, and conceptual strength.
I teach both online and offline, depending on the student’s convenience. My teaching method is flexible and student-centered. I adapt my approach based on the student's needs—whether they need in-depth theoretical understanding, numerical problem-solving strategies, or project-related guidance. My classes are interactive, organized, and focused on connecting theory with practical scenarios.
I often use PPTs to make concepts more visually accessible, especially when dealing with diagrams, graphs, or technical illustrations. I also share study materials and additional resources as needed, depending on the subject and student requirements.
For me, teaching Mechanical Engineering is not about rote learning—it's about nurturing curiosity and building the confidence to apply concepts outside the classroom. My goal is to help students not only excel in exams but also think like engineers.
