Ask a Question
Z1=a+ib Z2=c+id
LHS:
Z1Z2= (a+ib)(c+id)
= ac-bd+i(ad+bc)
So, Re(z1z2) = ac-bd__________(1)
RHS:
( ReZ1)(ReZ2)-(imZ1)(imZ2)
=(a)(c)-(b)(d)
=ac-bd_________(2)
So, by (1) & (2)...
Re(Z1Z2) = (ReZ1)(ReZ2) - (Im Z1)(Im Z2)
