Dr Rahul parikh

Dr. Rahul Parikh is an Assistant Professor of Botany with over nine years of teaching and research experience across leading Indian universities. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Botany from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, where his doctoral research focused on the application of Tamarindus indica seeds for groundwater defluoridation — a practically impactful study addressing a critical environmental health challenge in rural Gujarat. His academic credentials are further distinguished by clearing the CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test with an All India Rank of 34 in Life Sciences.
His teaching portfolio spans plant sciences, environmental science, plant tissue culture, ecotoxicology, biofuels, and environmental biotechnology. Beyond classroom instruction, Dr. Parikh has independently developed over 18 courses — both discipline-specific and interdisciplinary — demonstrating a strong commitment to innovative curriculum design. In addition to academia, Dr. Parikh brings hands-on industry experience as a Production Manager at a plant tissue culture facility, where he developed propagation protocols, optimized workflows, and trained technical staff.
