Pratima S.

Hello! I’m Pratima, an ECCEd-trained educator currently offering personalised 1:1 online classes for LKG to Class 5 students. I teach English, Hindi, EVS, Computer, and Mathematics, with a special focus on helping children understand concepts rather than simply memorising answers. My classes are interactive and adapted to the child's learning level, pace, and attention span. I use stories, games, drawing, craft, visual learning, worksheets, and real-life examples to make lessons easier and more enjoyable. I currently teach three students—LKG, Class 1, and Class 3—through online 1:1 classes, three times a week for about 40 minutes. My teaching focuses on: concept clarity, reading and vocabulary, grammar and sentence formation, comprehension, homework and academic support, confidence and participation, age-appropriate activities, and regular practice and assessment. I have observed improvements in students' reading, confidence, vocabulary, handwriting, participation, marks, and ability to complete work independently. I am currently pursuing ECCEd through the National Academy, with expected completion in December 2026. My training includes child development, phonics, early literacy, lesson planning, classroom management, and age-appropriate learning activities. I also have 6+ years of previous professional experience as an HR Business Partner, which has strengthened my communication, organisation, planning, and people-management skills. My goal is to create a comfortable online learning environment where children feel safe asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at their own pace. I offer a free introductory/demo session so parents can understand my teaching approach before deciding on regular classes.
