Neuron is the function unit of nervous system. It helps in conducting of impulse and do not have the capacity to regenerate like other cells if any injury happens.

Neuron is otherwise called as nerve cell. brain cells are specialized ones which has axons to transmit information and dendrites to receive information. like other cells in our body they also contain similar organs but they do not divide.

Neuron is nerve cell. It can transmit impulses of nerve. Its structure has antenna like projection called axon (it conducts signal) and the body has dendrites - branch like -- which receive the signals of nerve pulses.
