I want to teach in an institute of class 6-10. For 6-8 Maths and Science, and 9th-10th Science. I have 4-year teaching experience as a home tutor and teaching in an institute.

why current is scalar quantity but current-density a vector ?
Current is not a scalar quantity....its a tensor quantity as its direction is fixed. Current density is current per unit area and as area is a vector quantity so is the current density.
