In WordPress, filters are functions that allow you to modify data before it is presented to the user or stored in the database. They provide a way to customize and manipulate various aspects of WordPress functionality without directly altering the core code. Filters are a fundamental part of the WordPress Plugin API and are widely used in themes and plugins to extend and modify WordPress behavior.

To Optimize a Wordpress site for SEO, you need to 5 things.
1. Install An SEO Plugin like Rankmath or Yoast SEO. I prefer Rankmath as it is easier to use than Yoast SEO in my perspective.
2. For all the content pages on your Wordpress site, make sure you reach score above 80 in Rankmath.
3. Next, you need to install WP Rocket plugin for Caching, JS and CSS script minification and optimization and to reduce blocking scripts.
4. You need Shortpixel Plugin for Image Optimization for your Wordpress Website.
5. Lastly, you need to implement Schema markups on your website to increase your CTRs.

It is very easy to install WordPress. Below are the few necessary steps.
1. Purchase a hosting and a domain name from a hosting company like Hostinger or Godaddy.
2. After you have purchased the hosting from Hostinger (say), begin installing wordpress on the domain name you have purchased with your hosting. Usually, the domain name is free of cost when a paid hosting is taken from websites like Hostinger or Godaddy.
3. You need to fill your basic details like name and admin email address and click on Install Wordpress.
4. A database will be created and you will be given a website with wordpress installed in it. You can choose which plugins to install and delete in the Plugins tab.
That's it.

Wordpress started as a simple blogging platform. In the intial days, it was just a hobby but now you can create multiple types of websites over the wordpress platform like.
1. Business website.
2. Real Estate Website.
3. Ecommerce Website
4. Portfolio Website.
When the time is less, I personally use Starter Templates to set up the basic design of the website. It eventually helps saving a lot of time on the designing part of the website.
