Linux Updates

Linx opearing system is derived from the Unix. Unix was developed at AT & T Bell lab in 1970s. Linux was developed by Linus Torvlads in 1991. Linux is open source software i.e availabe  in free of cost and you can also modify it. But unix is not an open source software and not availabe freely. Linux os uses both GUI and CLI whereas unix uses only CLI. The common between them is that their commands are same. Unix are mainly used with high end computers and it is more secure OS.

Linux is doing great in servers, and I see nothing really eating into that right now, so I’m going to be bold here: Linux will continue to do great in servers.

Linux has been doing decent in mid-end embedded application roles, esp. ones that do lots of networking (see Linksys wireless routers for example). I don’t see that changing much either.
