Cooking is not rocket science! It takes patience, time and concentration also lots of love! You should always keep in before entering kitchen what is to be made, then collect all the ingredients on the slab then start your work.

Never clutter your slab with unnecessary things.

Always throw the peals and other waste in the garbage bin. It keeps your kitchen clean and hygienic.

First, wash your vegetables thoroughly dry them, e.g. lady's finger has to be drained first then chopped reason it doesn’t get messy, and you can make it crispy. It is the only vegetable in which you can put mango powder (Aamchoor) before the vegetable is cooked.

For simple good cooking be patient and calm. Avoid hasty working decisions that spoil the dish which is being cooked. Whenever you are seasoning, the vegetables or your dish avoid talking and maintain your concentration on seasoning the dish you are making this improved the taste and correct amount of spices and salt is added to the dish. Thus, your dish turns out to be a correctly made dish in taste as well as looks!

Happy cooking!

A kitchen is a place where all hidden medication is there only thing you should have appropriate knowledge how and when to use them. Let's have a look at the great medicines that can be found in every home.

Salt (rock salt): It is perfect for your teeth if used even once in a week; your teeth will be shining white with any use of expensive toothpaste!

Turmeric powder: It’s an excellent antiseptic agent. We use it daily in our preparations, but if you take it in warm milk in the night before sleeping, it will serve as the best medicine for any inflammation in the body.

Black Peppercorns: We use them for aroma and taste, but they are very good medicine when taken along with ginger juice and one teaspoon (tsp) of honey at nighttime and please don't drink even water after drinking this. In a weeks time, your cough will subside.

Other kitchen spices like nutmeg(Jaiphal in Hindi) is very good to be taken in winters as it keeps the body warm and prevents you from getting loose motion due to excessively cold temperatures. It’s common for babies even with elders too! You have to take stone grinder (sill) and rub it over small quantity, and you will see water turning muddy. That’s the nutmeg in water which should be taken according to age, e.g. for a child below one year just three to four drops are more than enough but for an adult can have one to two tsp in a day.

Now, we again take a look in kitchen condiments. Similarly, many other spices condiments, even veggies which are highly useful for good health.
