After being away from work for 12 years, it is natural to feel a little rusty and lose confidence. Start slowly. Spend 15–20 minutes every day revising basic grammar and another 15 minutes speaking in English about your daily life. Read a little, listen to English conversations, and try explaining simple grammar topics aloud as if you are teaching a student. Don't worry about making mistakes. With regular practice, your confidence will gradually come back. You already have the foundation—you just need to bring it back through practice. read less
