No, TOEFL scores are not accepted for Canadian immigration for Permanent Residency (PR) purposes. The two English language tests accepted by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for PR applications are: IELTS General Training CELPIP (Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program) General Test Both of these tests assess your English proficiency based on the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) system, which is required for immigration applications. TOEFL scores, while widely accepted for academic purposes (e.g., university admissions), are not valid for immigration to Canada. If your focus is on PR, ensure you take IELTS General Training or CELPIP General Test, as these are the only approved English tests for Express Entry and other immigration programs. read less
