Amrutha K.

I am an engineer, I recently completed my Master's Degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Geotechnical and geo environmental energy from KTU. Throughout my academic journey, I have cultivated a strong foundation in core civil engineering subjects and developed a deep interest in geotechnical engineering as well as in soil stabilization. My passion for teaching stems from my experiences as a student mentor and my involvement in academic activities such as organizing quiz competitions and expert talk series and home tuition. These experiences have allowed me to engage with peers and juniors, fostering a collaborative and enriching learning environment. On the research front, I have completed coursework and certifications in advanced topics such as Unsaturated Soil Mechanics and Geosynthetics and Reinforced Soil Structures through NPTEL, which have broadened my technical knowledge. Additionally, I am currently working on two research papers, one of which has been accepted for presentation at the prestigious IGC 2024 conference.
